This short tour takes you out of the hustles and bustles of the Nairobi City to some of Kenya’s most popular national parks.

Tsavo East National Park – Revisit the Man Eaters of Tsavo Story

Tsavo East National Park is along the Nairobi-Mombasa highway, opposite its sister park called Tsavo West. Tsavo East has red soil in plenty, attracting elephants that love to bathe in it. That’s why we have the red elephants of Tsavo East. The early railway construction workers were once eaten by lions. That’s where the Man Eaters of Tsavo story rose from.

Tsavo West National Park: Meet the African Big Five

Tsavo West National Park is adjacent to the Tsavo East National Park. The two parks boast a breathtaking view of undulating hills. At Tsavo West, you will meet all the Big Five and see the scenic Mzima springs where hippos, crocodiles and fish thrive in unity. Tsavo West has many smaller preys and predators, hippos, and crocodiles.

Amboseli National Park: The Land of Giants

Amboseli National Park will be our third destination in our 4 days and 3 nights trip. Amboseli, also called the Land of the Giants, is full of elephants. If you yearn to see numerous elephants at once, do not miss this tour. Amboseli shows you the snow-capped Mt. Kilimanjaro without going to Tanzania. Amboseli National Park offers a shelter to all the Big Five and many smaller wild animals.

4-Days and 3 Nights at Tsavo East, Tsavo West, and Amboseli National Park

Day 1

Travel to Tsavo East National Park

 

  • Arrange for a pick up at a Nairobi hotel, home, or airport at 6 AM.
  • Drive you to Tsavo East National Park, about 320km along the Nairobi-Mombasa road.
  • Halt on our way to take refreshments and snacks.
  • Enter Tsavo East National Park via the Southern gate with rugged scenery and some wild animals.
  • Check into a safari lodge or tented camp and eat your lunch.
  • Embark on an afternoon game drive, hoping to see the red elephants and other tourist features of Tsavo East.
  • As we get back for your dinner, you might see one of the most beautiful sunsets.
  • Stay in your lodge or tented camp for the night.

Day 2

Move From Tsavo East to Tsavo West National Park

 

  • Get into the car before dawn to capture the views of the awakening animals.
  • Drive back to your lodge or tented camp for a yummy breakfast.
  • Exit Tsavo East National park while watching wildlife in the mid-morning.
  • Arrive in Tsavo West National Park, where you will see all the Big Five.
  • Eat lunch after checking into a safari lodge or tented camp.
  • Embark on a thrilling wildlife viewing tour in the afternoon.
  • Eat dinner at your lodge or camp and retire for the night.

Day 3

 Travel to Amboseli National Park

 

  • After breakfast, we will take you to the Mzima springs where hippos, crocodiles, and birds abound.
  • At mid-morning, we will begin our journey to Amboseli National Park, which is 100 kilometers away.
  • Arrive in about 2 hours, just in time for lunch and rest.
  • In the afternoon, we will take you out to see the best of Amboseli’s wildlife, including huge herds of elephants.
  • Take many photos of the magnificent, snow-capped peaks of Mt.Kilimanjaro and the Amboseli wildlife before we come back for dinner.
  • Spend the night at an Amboseli camp or lodge.

Day 4

Exit Amboseli for Nairobi

 

  • Wake up at the crack of dawn for a game drive to see Amboseli’s wild animals and Mt. Kilimanjaro’s crater peak in the morning.
  • Eat a delicious breakfast and engage in a mid-morning tour drive.
  • Check out of your lodge or camp.
  • Drive back to Nairobi- about 240km.
  • Eat lunch on our way.
  • Arrive in Nairobi in about 4 hours and drop you off at your preferred place.
